I've been a fan of vampire stories as long as I can remember. Ever since I picked up my first Anne Rice novel as a teenager. Even today, when I see a new vampire book, or a new vampire story on television, I can't help myself. I'm "sucked" in (pun intended) immediately.

This isn't a sappy vampire romance--but there are certainly vampires, and definitely romance. It's a little edgier, a little darker, and more action-driven than Twilight or The Vampire Diaries. But if you enjoy suspenseful vampire stories with lots of action, and complex romance sub-plots, this is a series I think you'll enjoy it.
